Growing up, information wasn't readily available. Being a good student wasn't enough for navigating the college application process. My environment lacked resources to show me all the options.

Then, I got accepted to a university with tons of resources. It was like a whole new world opened up! I discovered things I never knew existed, like accelerated medical programs that could've sped up my journey to becoming a doctor.

This experience made me realize how crucial access to information and early networking is, especially for students from under-resourced backgrounds. That's why I'm passionate about SSE ME.

SSE ME helps students access information and mentorship. It's a two-way street: students get the guidance they deserve, and mentors gain valuable perspectives while making a real difference. This program levels the playing field for college and professional school applications.
